Cozy hotel with very spacey rooms
I stayed here for two night, it was supposed to be four, but we were stuck in Agua Calientes because of the protests in Cusco. The hotel didn’t charged us for for the two nights that we didn’t make it, and that was very valuable for us. The stuff is beyond amazing, full with smiles and very helpful, they were going overboard to assist us with any needs that we have.

The rooms are huge and lots of space, the views from the room second floor was amazing, the bed was comfortable and big and the restroom very clean and nice.

They have coca tea at all the time. The breakfast was very good and tasty. Their restaurant have tasty food, it does take a while to cook and bring the food but that means that they are cooking from scratch.

The hotel is located right next to Qorikancha in the small street between, location is great for start your stroll or get a taxi.

I definitely recommend this hotel for everyone that’s visiting Cusco.

I just love this hotel
I have stayed twice now at Waman Qorikancha and I highly recommend it. The stars at this hotel are the staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We still talk about our first stay here when on the morning of our arrival the staff invited us into the dining room and gave us breakfast even before we had checked in. Remarkable. The service was excellent again during our more recent stay. The rooms are spacious and clean with huge comfortable beds. Very modern bathrooms with lovely showers. They have Direct TV with a bunch of channels to pass the time when you are adjusting to the altitude. Good rooms if you are travelling with kids because they have two level rooms with a large bed in the second room. A basic breakfast is served every day with nice coffee. …

Huge room and great service
We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and you get great value for money. Rooms are huge and so are the beds (2 king size beds even when we only booked for 2 persons). Clean and beautiful bathrooms with bath and shower. Breakfast has multiple options and you can ask the chef for any specific wishes. We stayed there twice (before and after a 4 day trekking) and the fact we wanted to stay there again says it all. Only minus is that on booking.com it says that all rooms have a jacuzzi but there is only one room which has that. Staff is very cooperative and go the extra mile for the guests. TIP: there are a lot of different prices for the same rooms, price difference can be up to 50 EUR per night, so use google to find the cheapest option!

Waman Hotel – Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes)
Cute, small, simple, clean, nice hotel! Nothing fancy as this town is very small and simple, so don’t expect 5 star treatment or amenities. The locals are so intelligent and resourceful to even be able to provide such hotel services in a town without transportation within it. It was amazing to see these hard working people lugging supplies and luggage up and down the hill for a living!!!

The staff was very friendly and we were forewarned about the hot water only lasting 2 minutes so it was quick showers after the thermal baths.

Their breakfast buffet was delicious!!! And we were happy that it was as it was a long day for us going to Machu Picchu! Love the luggage transportation service to the train station as it saved us an extra trip back to the hotel after returning from Machu Picchu. If you use it, please be friendly when tipping, its young staff lugging 100’s of pounds of luggage back and forward from the train station by foot.

¡Gracias personal del Hotel Waman y que Dios los bendiga y socorra!
